Rep. Charolette Wagner of Manila is in her third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. She represents District 77, a part of Mississippi County.
During the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Wagner serves as chair of the House Committee for City, County and Local Affairs. She also serves on the Joint Budget Committee; the Joint Energy Committee; and the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission Oversight Committee.
During the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Wagner served on the House Education Committee and the House Insurance and Commerce Committee. During her first session, Rep. Wagner served on the House Judiciary Committee and the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Rep. Wagner is a retired school administrator. She is a graduate of Leachville High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University, and a master's degree from the University of Kentucky. She also holds an Arkansas Administrative Certification and a Gifted and Talented Certification from Arkansas State University.
She has been part of many civic boards and organizations, including the Blytheville/Gosnell Chamber of Commerce; Manila Business and Professional Women; Mississippi County Retired Teachers Association, and the Mississippi County Fine Arts Council. She is past president of the Mississippi County School Master's Association. Rep. Wagner was honored as a past "Outstanding Young Woman of America," and was named Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. She enjoys reading and traveling. She and her husband, Wayne, attend the United Methodist Church. They have two grown children.
