Rep. Robert E. Dale of Dover is serving his second term representing District 70 in the Arkansas House of Representatives. Elected in 2008, Mr. Dale represents parts of Van Buren and Pope counties.
For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Dale serves as vice chair of the House Rules Committee. He also serves on the House Education Committee; the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee; the Rural Fire Departments Study Committee, and the Arkansas Legislative Council For the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Dale served on the House Education Committee and the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee.
Rep. Dale is a banker. He is a graduate of Dover High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Arkansas Tech University. He is a past president of the Dover Lions Club and a member of the Chamber of Commerce for Dover, Russellville, Clinton and Fairfield Bay. He has been chairman of the Tri-County Water Board and a member of the Pope County Ambulance Board. In his spare time, he likes to work on his cattle farm and quail ranch. He and his wife, Lawanda, are Baptist. They have two grown sons.
