Rep. Jody Dickinson is serving her third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives.  She represents District 47, which includes Jackson County and part of White County. 

For the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Dickinson serves on the Education Committee and the Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.

For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Dickinson served on the House Education Committee; the House Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs; and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee.  During the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Dickinson served on the House Education Committee; the House Committee on Aging, Children and Youth; and the Task Force on Abused and Neglected Children. 

Raised in Lincoln County, Rep. Dickinson graduated from Glendale School.  She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and is a retired teacher.  She is a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Business and Professional Women of Newport, and the Newport Service League.  In her free time, Rep. Dickinson enjoys caring for her family and grand-children, as well as her neighbors.  She and her husband, Tommy, are Southern Baptist, and they have three grown children.
