State Representative Keith Ingram of West Memphis is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 53, which includes part of Crittenden County.
For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Ingram is chairman of the House Rules Committee. He also serves on the Joint Budget Committee; the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, and the House Insurance and Commerce Committee.
During the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Ingram was vice chair of the House Rules Committee. He served on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and its Sales, Use, Miscellaneous Taxes and Exemptions Subcommittee. He was also a member of the House Insurance and Commerce Committee and its Financial Institutions Subcommittee.
Rep. Ingram was honored as an Arkansas Municipal League Distinguished Legislator in 2009. He has also been honored by many other organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, and the American Planning Association. In 2002, he was named West Memphis Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
Rep. Ingram is a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Memphis.
A lifelong West Memphis resident, Rep. Ingram earned a high school diploma from Memphis University School. He attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Mississippi, where he earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education. Rep. Ingram is Vice President of Razorback Concrete, a family-owned business. He served as mayor of West Memphis, Arkansas, from 1987–1995. He has served numerous civic organizations and boards, including the Arkansas Delta Council, which he helped found. He is vice chairman of the Memphis Regional Logistics Council, and has been on the boards of directors for the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association, Crittenden Regional Hospital, and the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame.
