Rep. Allen Kerr of Little Rock is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 32, which includes part of Pulaski County.
For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Kerr serves as vice-chair of the House Insurance and Commerce Committee. He also serves on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, the Joint Committee for Public Retirement and Social Security Programs, and the Public School Desegregation Resolution Task Force.
During the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Kerr served on the House Public Transportation Committee; the House Committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs; the Criminal Justice Task Force, and the Public School Desegregation Resolution Task Force.
Rep. Kerr works in insurance and financial services. He graduated from Jacksonville High School, and he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has several professional licenses in finance and insurance. Rep. Kerr is a twelve-year recipient of Farmers Insurance President's Council's highest award. A former Pulaski County Quorum Court member, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with his family during free time. He and his wife, Marliese, are Methodist. They have two sons and two daughters.
