Rep. Stephanie Malone of Fort Smith is serving her third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. She represents District 77, which includes part of Sebastian County.

For the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Malone serves on the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee; the Insurance and Commerce Committee; and the Joint Budget Committee.

For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Malone chaired the House Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs. She also served on the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee; the House Rules Committee; the Joint Budget Committee, and the Task Force on Substance Abuse Treatment Services.

During her first term, Rep. Malone served on the House Aging, Children and Youth Committee and was vice chair if the Children and Youth Subcommittee. She also served on the House Public Transportation Committee.

A graduate of Rogers High School, Rep. Malone earned a degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She works in marketing, and is a member of Young Emerging Leaders. In her spare time, Rep. Malone enjoys reading and running. She is Baptist.
