Rep. Charlie Collins of Fayetteville is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 84, which includes part of Washington county.
For the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Collins serves on the Legislative Joint Audit Committee, Insurance and Commerce Committee, and the House Revenue and Taxation Committee.
For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Collins served on the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee, where he is vice chair of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resources. He also served the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, where he was vice chair of the Subcommittee on Educational Institutions.
Rep. Collins is a small business owner. He is a graduate of Franklin High School in Michigan. A veteran, he received a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, and he earned a master's degree in quantitative economics from George Washington University. He and his wife, Leeann, have four teenage children: two sons, and two daughters.
