Rep. Charlie Collins of Fayetteville is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 84, which includes part of Washington County.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves as chair of the House Insurance and Commerce Committee. He also serves on the committee for Revenue and Tax, the Joint Budget Committee, State and Public School Life and Health Insurance Program Legislative Task Force, Joint Committee on Public Retirement and Social Security Programs, Joint Committee on Economic and Tax Policy, and the Health Reform Legislative Task Force.
For the 89th General Assembly, he served as chair of the House Revenue and Taxation Committee.
Rep. Collins is a small business owner. He is a graduate of Franklin High School in Michigan. A veteran, he received a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, and he earned a master's degree in quantitative economics from George Washington University. He and his wife, Leeann, have four teenage children: two sons, and two daughters.
