Rep. Justin Harris of West Fork is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 81 which includes parts of Washington and Crawford counties.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves on the Joint Performance Review Committee, the Committee on Education, the Joint Budget Committee, and is Vice Chairperson for the Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs.
For the 89th General Assembly, he served on the Committee on Public Health, Welfare and Labor, the Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs, and Legislative Joint Auditing Committee.
For the 88th General Assembly, he served on the Committee on Revenue and Taxation, as well as the Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs.
Rep. Harris is a graduate of Siloam Springs High School, and he earned a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Life Science from the University of Arkansas. He owns an early childhood education facility in West Fork. He has been part of several civic and professional organizations, including the Arkansas Early Childhood Education Association. He has been vice chair of the West Fork Planning Commission and has served on the West Fork Budget and Personnel Committee. In 2006, he was recognized as Northwest Arkansas Professional of the Year.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading historical works and non-fiction, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Marsha, attend Cross Church of NWA. They have three young sons.
