Rep. Justin Harris of West Fork is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 81 which encompasses parts of Washington and Crawford counties.
During the 90th General Assemby Rep. Harris served on the committee for Joint Performance Review, the committee for Education, the Joint Budget Committee, and serves as a member and Vice Chairperson for committee Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs,
For the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Harris served on the Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee, the committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs, and Legislative Audit.
For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Harris served on the House Revenue and Tax committee, as well as the House Committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs.
Rep. Harris is a graduate of Siloam Springs High School, and he earned a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Life Science from the University of Arkansas. He owns an early childhood education facility in West Fork. He has been part of several civic and professional organizations, including the Arkansas Early Childhood Education Association. He has been vice chair of the West Fork Planning Commission and has served on the West Fork Budget and Personnel Committee. In 2006, Rep. Harris was recognized as Northwest Arkansas Professional of the Year.
During his spare time, Rep. Harris enjoys reading historical works and non-fiction, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Marsha, attend Cross Church of NWA. They have three young sons.
