Rep. Justin Harris of West Fork is serving his first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives, where he represents District 87. His district encompasses parts of Washington and Crawford counties. For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Harris serves on the House Revenue and Tax committee, as well as the House Committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs. He is a non-voting member of the House Education Committee.
Rep. Harris is a graduate of Siloam Springs High School, and he earned a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Life Science from the University of Arkansas. He owns an early childhood education facility in West Fork. He has been part of several civic and professional organizations, including the Arkansas Early Childhood Education Association. He has been vice chair of the West Fork Planning Commission and has served on the West Fork Budget and Personnel Committee. In 2006, Rep. Harris was recognized as Northwest Arkansas Professional of the Year.
During his spare time, Rep. Harris enjoys reading historical works and non-fiction, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Marsha, attend an Assemblies of God Church. They have three young sons.
