Rep. Mary Broadaway is serving her second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. She represents District 57 which includes part of Greene County.
For the 90th General Assembly, she serves on the committee for Judiciary, the committee for Rules, the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, the committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs, Arkansas Legislative Council, the Joint Budget Committee, and the Arkansas Legislative Task Force on Autism.
During the 89th General Assembly, she served on the Judiciary Committee and the committee for Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs.
She is an attorney for Broadaway and Broadaway P.A. in Paragould. She graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio and went on her to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas Law School.
Rep. Broadaway is a member of several organizations including the Arkansas Bar Association and the Greene County Bar Association. She serves on the board of directors for the Paragould Chamber of Commerce and the Progressive Eldercare Services, Inc. She also served as chairman in 2012 for the Board of Law Examiners.
She has three children, Jack, Whitfield, and Lily. In her spare time she enjoys art, reading and travel.
