Rep. Eddie Armstrong is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 37, which includes North Little Rock and portions of Pulaski County.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves on the Arkansas Legislative Council, Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace Legislative Oversight Committee, Joint Committee on Advanced Communications and Information Technology, Joint Committee on Constitutional Amendments, Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, committee for Judiciary and the committee for State Agencies and Governmental Affairs.
During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Armstrong served on the Revenue and Taxation and the City, County and Local Affairs committees.
He graduated from North Little Rock High School. He earned a Bachelors of Arts at the University of Arkansas in Political Sciences. He is a special assistant to the Mayor of North Little Rock.
He is the founder of the Eddie Armstrong Scholarship Foundation as well as a member of the Urban League Arkansas Sponsoring Committee, the Pulaski County Public Facilities Board, and Argenta Downtown Council.
Rep. Armstrong was listed by Ebony Magazine as a Young Leader of the Future in the magazine's 30 under 30 list.
Rep. Armstrong devotes his free time to public service including feeding the homeless, youth mentoring, and public speaking.
