Rep. Eddie Armstrong is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 37, which includes North Little Rock and portions of Pulaski County.
For the 91st General Assembly, Rep. Armstrong will serve on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, the House Insurance and Commerce Committee, and the Joint Budget Committee.
Rep. Armstrong served as the House Minority Leader during the 90th General Assembly.
Rep. Armstrong earned his degree in political science from University of Arkansas. Since February 2014, he has worked as the business development officer for Pathology Partners Toxicology Lab. He previously worked as a special assistant to the mayor of North Little Rock.
He has served as the national spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Club of America. In 2005, he was recognized in Arkansas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. In 2007, he was noted as one of Ebony magazine’s top 30 on the rise in America. He was also featured in AY magazine’s “Powerful Men 2015.”
Rep. Armstrong and his wife, Sherra, are the proud parents of Edison Drake. The family attends First Baptist Church in North Little Rock and reside in the Argenta Community.
