Rep. Bill Gossage is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 82 which includes portions of Franklin, Madison, and Crawford counties.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves on the Committee on Education, the Committee on Insurance and Commerce, the Committee on Rules, the Joint Committee on Energy, State and Public School Life and Health Insurance Program Legislative Task Force, is a Member of the General Assembly Appointed to Assist with Boys State, and is the chairperson for the Committee on House Management.
For the 89th General Assembly, he served on the Committee on Revenue and Taxation, and the Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs, and the Joint Committee on Advanced Communications and Information Technology.
He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in History and Political Science. He earned his Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas.
Representative Gossage is a retired Superintendent for Ozark Schools. He is the president of the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce and the Vice-Chairman of the Ozark Area Friends of the NRA. He also previously served as president of the Ozark Area Youth Association.
He and his wife Tonya have one son.
