Rep. Charles Blake is serving his first term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 36 which includes a portion of Pulaski County.
For the 90th General Assembly, he is serving on the Transportation Committee, the committee for City, County, and Local Affairs, member of the General Assembly appointed to assist with Boys State, Joint Committee on Advanced Communication and Information Technology, and the Arkansas Public School Desegregation Lawsuit Resolution Task Force (Act 2286 of 2005).
Rep. Blake is the president of Central Arkansas Transportation. He is a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and earned his political science degree from Grinnell College.
His civic involvement includes working as chair of the Daisy Bates Holiday Committee, chair of South Main Street Board, and director of Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas.
He lives in Little Rock where in his off time he enjoys golf and chess. He is married to Ganelle Blake and is the father to 5 children.
