Monday, March 1, kicked off the week-long filing period for candidates running for political office in Arkansas. The Capitol has been abuzz with political hopefuls filing the required paperwork with the Secretary of State's office.  Candidates running for the 180 open district, state and nonpartisan judicial offices in the May 18 Preferential Primary and Nonpartisan General Election had to file with the Secretary of State's office by noon on March 8.  For a complete list of candidates and the offices for which they have filed, click here.
