Rep. Stephen Meeks of Greenbrier is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 67, which includes Faulkner county.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves on the Joint Budget Committee, the Joint Committee on Advanced Communications and Information Technology, the committee for Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development, the committee for Revenue and Taxation, and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee.
For the 89th General Assembly, he served on the committee on Revenue and Taxation, the committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development and the Joint Budget Committee.
For the 88th General Assembly, he served on the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, the committee on Revenue and Taxation, and the committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development.
Rep. Meeks graduated from Greenbrier High School and Florida Community College at Jacksonville. He was president of the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society, and was on the Dean's List and President's List. A veteran, he works as a computer technician. His interests include astronomy, space flight, and computer technology.
He and his wife, Jennifer are Baptist. They have one daughter.
