Rep. Reginald Murdock is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 48, which includes parts of Lee and St. Francis counties.
During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Murdock serves as the Vice Chairperson on the Public Health, Welfare and Labor committee. Rep. Murdock serves on the Inurance And Commerce committee and he also serves on the Joint Budget Committee.
During the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Murdock has served on the House Public Transportation Committee, where he chairs the Subcommittee on Rail. He also served on the Joint Performance Review Committee; the Joint Committee on Economic and Tax Policy, and the House Insurance and Commerce Committee. He was a non-voting member of the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Rep. Murdock is a graduate of Lee High School in Marianna and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he earned a degree in industrial engineering. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Rep. Murdock works as an engineer and contractor. In his free time, he enjoys all sports, reading, and traveling. Rep. Murdock and his wife, Willie, have one daughter.
