Rep. Richard Womack is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 18, which includes portions of Clark, Dallas, Hot Springs, and Garland Counties.
For the 90th General Assembly, he serves on the committee on Public Health, Welfare and Labor, the Joint Budget Committee, the Joint Performance Review Committee, the Joint Committee on Constitutional Amendments, and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee. He also serves as Vice Chair of the committee for State Agencies and Governmental Affairs.
For the 89th General Assembly, he served on the committee on City, County and Local Affairs and the committee on Public Health, Welfare and Labor.
Rep. Womack graduated from Benton High school and earned his degree from Ouachita Baptist University.
He owns a paint and construction firm and in his free time enjoys archery, hunting and fishing.
He is the father of 7 children ranging in ages 4 to 14.
