Rep. Douglas House is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 40 which includes portions of Pulaski and Faulkner County.

For the 91st General Assembly, Rep. House serves as House Chair for the Joint Committee on Public Retirement and Social Security Programs.

He also serves on the House Judiciary Committee,  the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Joint Budget Committee.

Rep. House is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and a Bronze Star recipient.

He is a graduate of the UALR Bowen School of Law.

Rep. House is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, Farm Bureau, Arkansas Cattlemen Association, VFW, American Legion, National Guard Association, and the NRA.

He has two grown children and four grandchildren.  Rep. House resides with his wife, Anita, in North Little Rock.
