Rep. Joe Jett is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 56, which includes Clay county and portions of Greene, Randolph and Lawrence counties.
Rep. Jett is serving his second term as Chairperson of the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. He also serves on the House Insurance and Commerce Committee and the House Joint Budget Committee.
He was named to the list of Top 50 Upcoming Legislators by the Darden School of Business.
Rep. Jett graduated from Corning High School. He attended Phillips University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a certified multi-instrument flight instructor.
He is a farmer and resides in Success. He is a member of the Corning Airport commission and the Corning Economic commission. He is married and has two sons. In his spare time he enjoys flying.
