Biography
Rep. Stan Berry was serving his seventh term in the Arkansas House, representing District 44, which includes portions of Pope and Van Buren counties. He first served from 2003 to 2007 before returning to the legislature in 2019, where he continued his work until his sudden passing.
For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Berry served on the House Public Transportation Committee, the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee.
Rep. Berry previously served in the National Guard. He has also served on the Dover School Board, the Dover City Council, and the Tri-County Water Commission.
He attended Arkansas Tech University and was a member of the Dover Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He lived with his wife Mona and had 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
