Biography
Rep. Mickey Gates is serving his second term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 22 which includes portions of Garland and Saline County.
For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Gates serves on the House Education Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.
Rep. Gates served on the Garland County Quorum Court from 1994 to 2014.
His civic and community involvement include serving as a board member for Change Point Pregnancy Care Center, serving as chairman of Garland County Republican Party and chairman of Garland County Young Republicans.
He enjoys snow skiing, fly fishing and traveling. He is a father of two and currently resides in Hot Springs with his wife, Susan.
