Rep. Carlton Wing is serving his first term with the Arkansas House. He represents District 38 which includes portions of North Little Rock and a portion of Pulaski County.
For the 91st General Assembly, Rep. Wing serves on the House Public Transportation Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee. He is also an ex-officio member of the Arkansas Legislative Joint Audit Committee.
Rep. Wing is a former sportscaster who now owns and operates his own firm, the Wing Media Group. With his company, Rep. Wing is able to incorporate his love for the Arkansas outdoors by producing outdoor related television programming.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s in Broadcast Communications. He then earned his master’s in Business Administration from Harding University.
Rep. Wing serves on the board for the Amboy Community Food Pantry in North Little Rock. He is a member of the North Little Rock Ministerial Alliance, the Park Hill Business Association, Levy Chamber of Commerce and the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
And a little known but fun fact about Rep. Wing: he was once the 1st place winner in the MEMS Ambulance Rodeo, a competition where drivers must complete a challenging course of road obstacles driving against the clock.
He is the father of two grown daughters and two sons who are still in school. He resides with his family in North Little Rock.
