Rep. Stephen Magie is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 72, which include a portion of Faulkner County.
During the 90th General Assembly, Rep. Magie will serve on the committee for State Agencies and Governmental Affairs and the committee for Public Health, Welfare and Labor.
During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Magie served on the Judiciary Commitee; the Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee; and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committtee.
Rep. Magie graduated from Morrilton High School. He also attended the University of Central Arkansas, Louisiana State University Medical School, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Rep. Magie is a member and past chairmain/ president of the Arkansas Medical Society. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Conway Downtown Partnership, the Conway Airport Advisory Committee, the Faulkner County Medical Society, the Pulaski County Medical Society, and the Conway Morning Optimist.
Rep. Magie enjoys to fly, turkey hunt, and camp in his spare time. He is married and has two sons and two daughters.
