Biography

Rep. Denise Garner is serving her fourth term in the Arkansas House. She represents District 20 which includes portions of Washington County.

For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Garner serves on the House Education Committee and the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee. Rep. Garner also serves on the Joint Budget Committee. 

Rep. Garner is a retired RNP and a small business owner.  She attended Baylor and graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical School with a B.S.N. and R.N.P. She has been actively engaged and recognized by numerous civic and professional organizations, including Founder and Board Chair at Role Call; Founder for Feed Communities; University of Arkansas Medical School Psychology Research Institute Board Member; WRMC Foundation Board Chair; University of Arkansas Medical School Board; University of Arkansas Foundation Board; Fulbright College Advisory Board; College of ED/ HP Advisory Board; Amazeum Board; National Museum of Women in Arts – Arkansas Committee; Theatre Squared Board; Mt.
