About Rep. Fite

Rep. Lanny Fite is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 23 which includes a portion of Saline County.

For the 91st General Assembly, Rep. Fite serves as the Assistant Speaker Pro Tempore.  He also serves on the House Judiciary Committee, the House City, County and Local Affairs Committee, and Legislative Joint Auditing.

Rep. Fite is a retired judge of Saline County. He is a graduate of Benton High School and a member of the Lions Club.

In 2011 he received the Professional of the Year Award from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. In 2001 he received the Benton Citizen of the Year award.

He is a father of two and resides in Benton with his wife, Sherri.
