Arkansas House Speaker Robert S. Moore is pleased to announce the establishment of the Tim Massanelli Endowed Scholarship for Political Science. The scholarship was established by previous and current House members, as well as friends of Mr. Massanelli, to honor the legacy of our long serving House Parliamentarian. “Tim’s charismatic personality combined with his love for public service has earned him recognition both state and nationwide,” Speaker Moore said. Mr. Massanelli was told about the scholarship during a presentation by Speaker Moore on the House floor Wednesday afternoon. Tim Massanelli has served in the Arkansas House of Representatives since 1973. His dedication and expertise in parliamentary procedure has inspired respect by legislators and staff alike. During his service, 19 Speakers of the House, 7 Governors, and over 1,000 members have relied on his knowledge. The scholarship will be used to provide assistance for any education related expenses for students pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
