There were 838 new cases and 17 deaths reported at today’s COVID-19 daily update. Hospitalizations have decreased by 27 since yesterday. There were eleven counties with more than 20 new cases. Pulaski County is reporting 65 new cases. Benton County is reporting 49 new cases. Washington County is reporting 41 new cases. Hope County is reporting 39 new cases. Faulkner County is reporting 29 new cases. Jefferson and Sebastian Counties are reporting 27 new cases. Craighead County is reporting 25 new cases. Mississippi and Garland County are reporting 21 new cases. Independence County is reporting 20 new cases. The Governor reminded everyone that it’s important to follow the same social distancing guidelines over the weekend. Additionally, those who have been tested for COVID-19 but have not received their test results yet are encouraged to self-quarantine until they hear back from the Arkansas Department of Health.
